Pr. Ghassan K. Abou-Alfa (MD, PhD) is an attending physician part of the Gastrointestinal Oncology Service at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA. Ghassan is specialized in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and in particular, liver and biliary cancers. He serves as the Chair of the medical/scientific board of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and the Blue Faery Liver Foundation, and serves also on the National Medical Advisory Committee of the American Liver Foundation.

Ahmad Awada

Pr. Ahmad H. Awada (MD, PhD) is the Head of Medicine Department and Medical Oncology at the Jules Bordet Cancer Institute in Brussels, Belgium. He is the member of several international scientific societies (ASCO, EORTC, ESMO), co-founder of Oncodistinct network for oncology research and Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Ahmad had taken an active part in the development of new drugs, some of them already widely used.

Jean-Pierre Bizzari

Dr. Jean-Pierre Bizzari is a world-renowned oncology expert who actively took part in the clinical development of several anticancer agents during his positions as oncologist at the Pitie Salpetriere in Paris, at Ontario Cancer Institute, and Montreal Mac Gill Cancer Center in Canada before joining the pharmaceutical industry at Servier, Rhône-Poulenc, Aventis and Celgene. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the French National Cancer Institute (INCa) and European Organization of Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) and Chairman of the New Drug Advisory Committee.

Juan Valle

Pr. Juan Valle (MD, PhD) is Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. He is specialized in cancers of the pancreas, biliary tract (cholangiocarcinoma and gallbladder cancer), liver and neuroendocrine tumours. Major achievements include international recognition for research in the field of biliary tract cancers, particularly through establishing the reference treatment for patients with advanced disease.

Marc Bourlière

Pr. Marc Bourlière (MD, PhD) is the Head of Hepato-Gastroenterology Department at Saint Joseph Hospital in Marseilles. He belongs to the National Agency for AIDS and hepatitis research (ANRS) and he leads the ANRS group in which he coordinates clinical trials in Hepatitis. Marc is also member of several learned societies including the French (AFEF) and European (EASL) associations for the study of the liver.
